Wednesday , 11th of January, 2023 was fun day for the children of Kindergarten.

Guindy National Park, Chennai gave an experience of being surrounded by greenery and the beauty of nature.

We started at 10.00 am in the morning with prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. Kids were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached Guindy National Park.

Kids are eager to learn so much about Mother Nature, the animals and birds that live in that habitat. They first visited the bird enclosure where they got to see a few beautiful peacocks and peahens, a jungle fowl, and some sociable and highly intelligent parrots. Jumping with excitement students witnessed numerous animals which they had only seen on their television sets. From deer to monkey, rabbits, tortoise, alligators, crocodiles etc. students got a chance to closely observe each one of animals present. Our little ones beamed with joy as monkeys jumped from one branch of the tree to another.

The most enjoyable time was in the play area with swings, slides, merry-go-round, and see saw. The group photograph time motivated students to make funny faces for the click!

All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers.

It was a sound and safe return trip back to school...“Cheers”.
